Meet at 9:00AM at the pool parking lot on Idlewild Drive (between pool
and skate park) then head north to ride the Sierra Valley. The tourists and the traffic are gone by now and the weather is generally beautiful for a ride out through Chilcoot, Loyalton, Sierraville, Calpine, Graeagle, and the special back road into Portola. Lunch in Graeagle or Portola. Depending upon the weather in Ocotober, this may be the last 'big' scooter ride of the year. | |
