The best advice I would give anyone would be to take the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Rider Course. I have had my license for a long time and I took the Basic Rider Course in September. It teaches/reminds you about stuff that you sorta forget.

Seriously though...This isn't my 'best' advice (I bet it generates some discussion)...I notice how people put their feet on their footpegs. When I was taught to ride (back in the 70s!) I was told to always put the balls of your feet on your footpegs. A lot of people ride 'flat footed' where the peg rests in the middle of their foot. If you ride on your 'toes' you feel better balanced. Right or wrong I always judge riders by where they place their feet!
