Its supposed to be nice this weekend. In the 70's I think. Anyone up for a cruise or maybe even a trip to the twisties?? Let me know.. What day works??

Steven is planning a semi-big ride around.... somewhere. I just got word on this. I told him about you wanted to ride this weekend. I will post latter-on for the Calendar and Newsletter to everyone who wants to meet up with you guys for this weekend. Unfortunaly I can't make it. I am moving out from my apts. into my new home! Steven said he would post up by the end of this week, I'll talk to him again at work. But just in case, plan on something else, to the side. I'll be there to meet with you guys to take some pics. Sunday for sure. Saturday is just open for people to get together if they want. I cant go Sat after all.

Hey Ya I was thinking about a 200 plus mile ride or so. . Its a twisted road to and from where we would be heading. Hit I80 and ride to to highway 20, ride down 20 to Nevada City, then get on Highway 49 its a twisted road back up the Yuba river canyon and will eventually bring us back to highway 395 and into Reno. I have been through it a couple of times so I know it well. If you guys want to do that ride Im up for it or something shorter if anyone has ideas?

that sounds really cool, the only thing is I have a study group on sunday around 4.30 for our final project (making chess game )4 school. anyway just keep us up to date

That sounds like a great ride Ive been in that area but Im thinkin it may be a little cold. Thats like a 350 mi ride for me as well. Maybe we could save it for a warmer day.

How much time are you going to have Adilo? What time can you go in the morning?

Isnt it suposed to be be like 70 that day? thats warm enough for me, thats the only one I had planned but we could do something a little shorter maybe down highway 70 to Quincy and then loop back around to Antelope lake and back to 395. Althought Im not sure if the roads open yet.

what time are you thinkin of leaving? will we back in time for Adilo to go?

i just remember hwy 20 and 49 covered with trees and shade. thought it might be chilly but Ive only been there once.

Whatever you guys decide is cool with me. I dont have any suggestions so Im just gonna shut up and ride. My buddy is racing in the Virginia city grand rix this weekend. Might be a good place to spread the word about NVGR

What time and where do you guys want to meet tomorrow? I will do any of the rides mentioned and have also found a loop around the lake and end up in V.C. Let me know.

There is another group sierra sport bike association riding tomorrow. They are leaving from starbucks on mc carren and heading up 89 to Blairsden-Graegale. Didnt know if you guys are down for combining groups at all but I thought I would throw it out there. They are meeting at 930 and leaving at 10:00am

I think a Nevada City/Yuba River ride is a bit optomistic this time of year (BRRRRrr). It is a great ride, though. I'm hip to a ride up to VC for lunch today or tomorrow. Anyone?

9:30 is too early for me. I'll have to catch a ride at a later date. I'll keep checking back to see if the timing might change. Take it easy!
