------ Farm Country Ride Carson/Yerington/Carson -------
Ride a big loop through Carson City, Yerington/Smith Valley, and back to Carson City. The basic route is up to Virginia City, back down via Mile High or the
Truck Route, east past Dayton, take the Weeks Cutoff, south through
Yerington farm roads, up the canyon to Smith Valley and over to 395,
then 395 through Gardnerville, Foothill Road past Genoa, some backroads
through Carson City, then East Lake or Old 395 back to Reno. Lunch
stop is probably in Gardnerville or Carson (decide that morning). Fuel stop in Gardnerville or Carson if needed. Long day in the saddle, but fun! This is an alternative ride to the Doomtown III ride, since we're not really invited.
